With more than a hundred years of multicultural heritage, the union of Claudia and Alberto has brought the couple to Scotland, bringing with them a flavour of the Mediterranean and a passion for growing a range of premium spirits in Scotland.
The Lafferty's Story
Archybald Lafferty moved from Donegal to Scotland in the middle of the 1800s. He immediately adapted to the new country, respecting traditions, uses and customs. Once in Scotland, some of the family started working as contractors in coal mines, with the others opting for the spirit industry.
All our spirits are 100% handcrafted and are carefully tended throughout the distillation process, with a fine attention to detail."
From Donegal to Scotland (via Italy)
Born in a small, rural town in north-east Italy, the founder held a simple and powerful dream. The Laffertys are an Irish family who moved from Donegal to Scotland in the 19th century. Once in Scotland, some of the family started working as contractors in coal mines, with the others opting for the spirit industry.
